This document outlines the essential and nice-to-have requirements for hosting the FOSS Hack event in Delhi/NCR.

Essentials:

WiFi

• Can the WiFi support a large number of people in a condensed space? Done
• What is the backup arrangement in case wifi goes down? Done, Participants can use hostpots

Power

• Are there 2-3 power sockets per team? - Yes
• Is there power backup? - Yes, generator is available in our college

Overnight arrangements

• Is the venue aware that students will be staying overnight? - No, Delhi edition will be of 12 hours only so there is no overnight staying facility
• Are they okay with students sleeping in the venue? No, reason remains the same
• Do they have room for rest areas (separate areas for men and women)? Yes we have girls and boys common rooms in our college

Venue

• What are the security arrangements at the venue? College have gaurds everywhere around the campus
• Will there be a secure space where sponsors, organizers, or attendees can keep their expensive equipment? There could be locker facility somewhere within the college campus, had to check with that
• How many washrooms are accessible at the venue? Will they be clean throughout the hackathon? Around 6-7 for each mens and womens
• Hardware - Will it be possible to solder? Yes 2-3 solder will be there
• Presentations - What AV equipment is available at the venue for presentations? Is there an auditorium that can hold all the attendees? We have a huge auditorium which can hold upto 300 participants

Will there be AV staff on site to help with presentations? Yes

Seating

• How many seats and tables are there at the venue? because we are hosting in a college so this will be available in huge number
